FILM FESTIVAL “RECONEXÃO” WITH THE REGENERA RIO DOCE MOVEMENT (BRAZIL, 2017)
Reconexão was a film festival organised by the Brazilian production company Mairarê, an all-female diverse company specialized in projects for social and environmental change. The audience was mainly made by people affected by the enviornmental crime of Samarco (2015), when a damn collapsed destroying entire communties and ecossystems in the Brazil.
FILM FESTIVAL RECONEXÃO SANTA TERESA EDITION WITH CINE SANTA (BRAZIL, 2017)
Reconexão was a film festival organised by the Brazilian production company Mairarê, an all-female diverse company specialized in projects for social and environmental change, in partnership with the local organisation AmeSanta and the cinema Cine Santa. The audience was mainly made by people from the communities surrounding the borough Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro, to discuss sustainability and social change.
FILM FESTIVAL “PLACAR FINAL” (BRAZIL, 2016)
Placar Final Film Festival was organised in partnership with the group Estação de Cinema (Rio de Janeiro) and Casa Cultural Matilha (São Paulo) to assess the impact of megaevents such as the Olympic Games in cities. Partnership with the NGO Terre des Hommes, organisation Rio On Watch, the Igarapé Institute, and Pública Journalism.
